Shri R.C. Gupta, the esteemed founder of the Traditional Handicrafts Centre, left his secure government job to pursue his passion for antiques and Indian heritage. His love for innovation led him to venture into handicrafts, and his travels enriched the collection with captivating stories. In February 2015, he left behind a timeless legacy upon passing away, laying the foundation for THC’s global recognition today.
Continuing his father’s legacy, Shri Mahendra Gupta embraced authenticity and expanded THC into new avenues, curating furniture and flooring collections with over 80% reclaimed and recycled wood. His commitment to consistency and economies of scale-shaped our diverse product portfolio.
Presently, leading the enterprise is Priyank Gupta, the insightful mind and rightful heir of the family. Under his guidance, Reclaimed Flooring Centre emerged as an extension of THC, revolutionising the industry through the pioneering use of Reclaimed Wood. Priyank’s passion for sustainability and excellence drives us forward, ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovation.
Each generation has nurtured and grown Traditional Handicrafts Centre, further expanding into Reclaimed Flooring Centre, like branches of a tree, making it a beacon of craftsmanship, authenticity, and sustainability.
